Summary

Detailed Plot SummaryEdit

Meghan’s brother was kidnapped by Iron Fey. Her best friend Puck, who she didn’t know was a faery, took her into the faery world when she found out her brother had been taken and replaced by a changeling. They didn’t know who took him though.

When they got into The Nevernever they were being hunted by Puck’s former best friend now enemy, Prince Ash of the Unseelie Court. Puck left Meghan in a tree and went of to deal with Ash. Meghan met a very annoying Cait Sith named Grimalkin, who is something like a Cheshire Cat.

He agreed to take her to the Summer Court in return for a favour. After much trouble they got to the Summer Court. Meghan met her biological Father, Oberon, King of the Summer Fey. Every human year in Faery there is a festival called Elysium. In which the two courts, Summer and Winter, join to rewrite and sign contracts and treaties. There is also a feast and dancing. During Elysium Meghan was asked by Ash to dance. Puck, by this time was back in the Summer Court but was under a spell as a bird. Suddenly, a Chimera attacks and ruins the dance :(  The Winter Queen, Queen Mab and The Summer King, King Oberon blame each other for the incident which they shoudn't have because of the incident.

The Winter Court leave and Meghan takes this chance to escape because she thinks that Mab, Queen of the Winter Court had taken her brother. She leaves with Grimalkin to a secret passage into the human world to find a trod to Tir Na Nog since they can’t sneak onto the carriages. Meghan leaves with Grimalkin and they find the trod to Tir Na Nog, but had some trouble with the owner, but Puck comes in unwantenly and helps.

On the other side of the door they are unfortunately greeted by Iron fey. He had been sent by Mab to get Meghan so they could use her against Oberon. Whilst, Puck and Ash were fighting Meghan was taken into a Ice cave by Iron Bugs to a great Iron Horse. Iron Horse told her they had her brother at the Iron Court because King Machina wanted to slap him  and taken him to get to her. After saving her which he later regreted, Ash made a bargain with Meghan that said he would go with her to the Iron Court to find her brother and she would go with him to Tir Na Nog after. They go to a place in the Human World to get an special arrow that will kill Machina. They have to leave Puck behind because he was injured. Meghan and Ash continue to go to the Iron house. They reach the Iron Realm but Ash almost dies in the process. In the end Meghan manages to kill the Iron King but claims his powers. Now she has Summer and Iron glamour. While Ash and Meghan were on there journey they fell in love with each other. Meghan returns Ethan home and Ash also returns home, in the Nevernever time doesn’t affect them and there isn’t really such a thing, so when you have only been in the Nevernever a couple weeks you have actually been there for 3 months in human time.

Later on in the same evening Ash returns the iron realm.
